Indicators of overall performance of the Russian higher education institutions

Indicators of an assessment of educational activity of higher education institutions do more real an overall picture of their monitoring of higher education institutions, approaching indicators of an assessment of higher education institutions of Russia to the all world. Economic activity of higher education institutions is formed by two indicators: the financial and economic – threshold value of 1,1 million rubles the income on one scientific and pedagogical worker in a year from all sources of financing; the infrastructure – threshold value not less than 11 sq.m of own (educational and scientific) square at 1 student (the given contingent).

Article is devoted to the mechanism of definition by schoolchildren of the professional strategy of development. The factors defining a choice by schoolchildren of the institution of higher education and the future specialization are considered. Three interconnected making strategies of high school – social, professional and price are in detail analysed. Results of the sociological researches taken by authors in 2009 and 2012 in which course the educational behaviour of youth in relation to the higher vocational training was studied are presented.

During second monitoring there was the inclusion of the criteria of efficiency of Universities connected with the employment of graduates. The need for an analysis of this criteria is not in doubt. However, the opportunities for its adequate formalization are still the subjects of discussions with experts.
