The Conference ‘Conflicts in Modern Russia: Research and Resolution’ was conducted on February 11, 2010 at the Modern University for the Humanities; it supported the status of the University as one of analytical centers of conflict resolution studies. The conference was started by MUH Vice-Rector, Doctor of Military and Historical Sciences, G.I. Pismenskiy. About 80 specialists from Russia and the CIS countries took part in the Conference. Within the conference frameworks there was a roundtable, headed by leading specialists in this field of knowledge Doctor of Psychology, A.Ya. Antsupov and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, A.V. Dmitriev. Great attention is paid to issues of teaching of conflict resolution as an educational discipline, which had its own special features such as: complex character of scientific approaches to investigating and focus on solution of general social problems. Materials of the roundtable were prepared by PhD I.E. Zadorozhnyuk and D.I. Kuznetsov (the Modern University for the Humanities).

Problem of modernization of strategic management of staff training is analyzed in the article. Basic principles of staff training for innovative economy are represented. New staff is able to effectively manage innovative projects and implement creative projects. Key issues of modernization of Russian education are considered; recommendations for strategic management of staff training are given.

It also suggests the model of realization of continuing professional education consisted of several levels that influence the successful socialization of secondary professional schools graduates.
