Characteristics of scale types and their creating rule are explained.

Special features of modern sociological education in Russia are considered, a status and role of their bearers are set, and ways of popularization of this education among school leavers including analytical, applied, and practical gradation are proposed. It is stated that the advantage of sociological education as compared with other human professions is possibility to fulfill curricula with real practical work. Necessity to use abilities effectively in practically oriented educational courses and in production by means of requirements strengthening is reasoned.

Some conclusions of university future in modern society are made: they will take serious positions in knowledge society, if they can set equal relations with their social surroundings: the state, market and civil society.
