Problems of increasing of quality of education in regions are analyzed; challenges of implementation of key settings of a national project ‘Education’ related on conformity of scientific potential of universities to needs of constituent entities of the Russian Federation. It is stated that, on the one part, science is a full-motion engine of development of production in a region, and, on the other part, economy acts as a profiling stimulus and material support of progress of university science inside.

The analysis of the functioning of youth’s historical memory in dichotomy “traditional-innovative” is given in the article. The author proposes the system of main social characteristics and indicators in youth’s historical memory. Basing on the data from interregional social research, author points at peculiarities of expressing of word-view, behavioral and emotional aspects in functioning of youth’s historical memory and the trends in the young generation’s historical memory in modern circumstances of Russia.

The article deals with the problem of prestige of the profession as a social phenomenon, its essence and its importance for armed forces and society functioning. The article analyses the correlation between military profession prestige and such notions as respect, authority, attraction and status. The article studies the interaction between prestige and image of the armed forces and their impact on each other. Considering the results of some social surveys conducted the article points out the levels of formation and perception of military service prestige in the consciousness of young people.

The article focuses on transfer knowledge of links between religion and culture especially at the stage of establishment of such relations between man and nature when there comes the time to rethink about the possibilities of the material and spiritual worlds. The key idea in the article is harmony in the relations between society and religion. The contemporary community as proved by experience cannot exist without religion in which end there appears a surprising symbiosis of national elements with confessional ones in any ethnos, culture, society and community as a whole.
