Аннотация / Annotation:
The article shows the growing role of social networks in education. There have been described functions and services of social networks that can be used by universities as a part of academic work, in organization departments. There have been shown examples of tasks that can be offered to students in social networks. The article underlines the important role of thematic community page for collaboration of students, for discussion of educational material, creative projects. It is noted the importance of using social networks to develop students’ skills of cooperation with colleagues and ability to work in teams when e-learning, distance learning technologies are used. The authors believe that the academic work of students in social networks and the formation of peer learning environments will lead to the creation in the future distributed global university.

15 leading Russian universities are directed to participate in the program to enter the ranks of the world’s top 100 research and education centers by the year 2020. Comprehensive monitoring is the most effective form of performance evaluation. This article reviews the results of expert selection of a system of performance indicators of the university-participants of the program. These indicators comprise roadmaps for the universities. The system of indicators proposed in the article is universal and can serve as a methodological basis for analysis of various aspects of enhancement of the quality of professional education.

Educational Time Budget of contemporary school students

Аннотация / Annotation:
This paper aims to examine the Student’s time Budget in Russia, find an interrelation with social characteristics of students and evaluate the dynamics. 2791 school students (10-17 y.o.) were involved as respondents. Data were collected using a specific questionnaire. It was found that the Time Budget of contemporary students has increased over the last fifteen years. Therefore, the student workload is higher than permitted by the national law. This may be the result of outdated curriculum and teaching technologies. School load particularly increases in senior school (9-11 years of training). Students at special schools (for children with various diseases) have bigger burden of all kinds of educational activities.

17–19 April in the Udmurt state University held the fifth scientific-practical conference “Man and the world: the psychology of conflict, uncertainty and risk of innovations”. It was interdisciplinary and highlighted the importance for overcoming conflicts educational resource. Was shown the productivity of theoretical developments and practical recommendations on identification of conflicts in all spheres of social life, including education, to eliminate uncertainties and risks assessment of social innovations.
