Тhe article deals with the problems of socio-cultural, legal, linguistic adaptation and integration of migrant workers in France. The urgency of the problem in the first place associated with the increasing flow of migrants and the influence of the reciprocal process between the host population and migrants. Language and culture are powerful tools in the adaptation and integration of migrants. France considers integration programs aimed at the implementation of adaptation problems in social structures, the development of intercultural competences of migrants and their active participation in the integration processes.

The article examines characteristics of ethnic and religious extremism among youth and ways to prevent it. The article describes the aim and objectives and ways to implement multicultural education so that it helps prevent ethnic conflicts and displays of extremism.
