The conference ‘A University Idea and Challenges of a New Age’ was conducted in Moscow State University for Press in the name of Ivan Fedorov on February 29, 2012. It was dated to 20-year anniversary of the magazine ‘Vysshee Obrazovanie v Rossii’. An analythical review of main speeches of leading specialists in a field of sociology of higher education was represented. Main tendencies of development of a university in a new age were considered.

Interaction between Teachers and Migrant Children (on sociological researches arranged in HMAO-Ugra region)

Three groups of problems of social relationships between teachers and immigrant students are raised in this article, which is based upon series of sociological researches. These are problems of legal regulation of relationships between teachers and students, their sociocultural and language adaptation, and sociopedagogical interaction with teachers. Authors of the article pay attention to efforts, that school and teachers made for effective social adaptation of migrant students in process of studying. This article touches upon the research methodology, some results, and lightens up serious problems of migrant students’ adaptation and the possible ways of their solution.

Are the similarities and differences of representations in different stages of the military and professional socialization. Discovered the growing distance between the studied phenomena simultaneously with the qualitative changes (increase number of characteristics and their content). Values views about One’s own, Someone else’s and Enemy do not have inner unity and military occupational socialization of even deeper.
